Marianne Simms has spent most of her life with a whisk in hand and flour on her apron. Raised in Apopka, Florida, she learned early that baking wasn’t just about making something sweet — it was about creating something that brought people together. Those early kitchen lessons turned into a lifelong passion and a career that spanned decades.

After working more than ten years as a pastry shop manager and later running the bakery at Publix, Marianne built a reputation for care, consistency, and flavor. Her goal has always been simple: to make recipes that work, taste incredible, and never lose that homemade heart.

Today, Marianne lives in Stuart, Florida, where she and her husband enjoy life along the Treasure Coast — the sunshine, the small-town charm, and the easy pace of coastal living. Her children are grown now — one proudly serving in the U.S. Army, and the other teaching physical education and coaching baseball in Port St. Lucie — but her kitchen is still as lively as ever.

Drizzld is Marianne’s way of sharing that lifelong love of baking. It’s a place where simple, reliable recipes meet a touch of creativity — from nostalgic classics to new favorites worth passing down. Every recipe comes straight from her kitchen, tested and tasted, baked with patience, and finished with a drizzle of joy.
